Hewitt Gas Co. LLC

Meet Trey

Hello! I'm Trey Hewitt, born and raised in the Chesapeake–Moyock area, where I grew up exploring the waterways and woodlands of this beautiful region.

At 17, I began working for my family's local fuel company as an LP Service Technician. I spent the next 11 years learning the trade from the ground up—but I learned more there than just how to work with gas. Working in a family business taught me the value of hard work, taking care of your customers, and carrying yourself in a way that reflects the name on the truck.

During those years, I served customers throughout Knotts Island, Currituck, Pungo, Virginia Beach, Great Bridge, Norfolk, and everywhere in between. My work included installing propane tanks, running underground LP service lines, installing residential gas piping, and installing and servicing gas fireplaces.

My ambition to continue growing in the trade eventually led me to earn my Journeyman LPG Gasfitter license. After more than a decade with the company that gave me my start, I decided it was time to take that experience somewhere new, challenge myself, and continue growing professionally.

Hewitt Gas Co. was born from that same mindset—a commitment to quality work, personal responsibility, and building lasting relationships with the people I serve.

Hewitt Gas Co. isn't just a name on the truck to be proud of; it's a promise to provide honest, quality work to every customer.
